God Over Entertainment: Warning from Mike bamiloye's son
Joshua Bamiloye, a gospel singer and the son of Mount Zion Drama Ministry's founder, Mike Bamiloye, recently issued a heartfelt warning to Christians regarding their consumption of entertainment. He emphasized the importance of not letting any form of entertainment take precedence over God in their hearts.
According to Joshua, individuals who are excessively devoted to football or movie-watching are in the same category as those who avidly follow the controversial reality show, Big Brother Naija. He believes that the show contains immoral content and lacks true productivity, similar to a significant portion of today's entertainment.
Joshua reminded his audience that football enthusiasts should not be quick to criticize BBNaija viewers if they themselves have skipped a church fellowship to watch an important match or have been checking live scores during a religious service.
Taking to his Twitter account, Joshua wrote, "The truth remains that anything that competes with God in your heart is comparable. We are well aware that the show contains immoral scenes and lacks true productivity (a common characteristic of much entertainment content today)."
In conclusion, Joshua Bamiloye urged fellow Christians to prioritize God above all else, allowing their devotion to Him to reflect in the discernment they exercise when engaging with various forms of entertainment.
